From your pen to electronic glory.

Precious memories. Over the years, I have inherited notebooks, bibles, and recipe boxes from dear and close relatives. In the process of storing all of these priceless books, I wondered how protected they would be in a basement or storage facility. So I decided to take on the daunting task of putting these treasures into a virtual format. While it took a while for me to accomplish it, it was well worth the time and effort.

Digitizing your papers is not as simple as scanning them and keeping them in .jpeg or .png picture , or .pdf document. These formats cannot be manipulated or transformed  into useful projects. For instance, you want to give your Nonna’s recipes to the family as a Christmas gift. However, the pages of her original recipe book are stained, and some have faded due to use of a pencil.

Scanning will leave those imperfections intact. But having the recipes transcribed will eliminate those issues. Once put into digital form, Nonna’s recipes can be formatted into a beautiful cookbook, ready to be gifted at the next Christmas Eve Feast of the Seven Fishes.

The process of digitizing typed and hand-written pages is called paper to digital services. Simply put, for you I will take your old, treasured writings, recipes, love letters, etc., and do the typing into electronic format. You can trust me to keep your information confidential and as error free as humanly possible. While it took me a while to do my own papers, I will evaluate your submissions and give you a firm turnaround time for returning your documents. They will be formatted in your preferred file form, either Word .doc or Google document. Both these formats can then be used in other electronic means.

If you have a handwritten or typed document that you would love to have digitized, let’s chat.  I’d love to help you protect your memories or take your masterpiece from paper to the virtual world.
